"Certe Toto, sentio nos in Kansate nom iam adse!" Me in a nutshell... I am the least coordinated person you will ever meet, but I love sports! Swimming was my poison in high school, but I played a little bit of everything growing up. Since graduating I have done a lot of traveling. Amongst many other things, I have gone on two awesome road trips with the best friends on earth, and I went to Kenya as a missionary. Anyone who lives in the Limru area (about 2 hours away from Nairobi) knows my face as the one who changed the way they look at youth (youth is considered to be between the ages of 13 and 35 there). I have even been offered my own church if I find my way through seminary. However strongly the pull may be children are my passion. There is no boring day when you work with children, and I would defiantly know. For four years now I have been teaching science to elementary school children. I also teach Sunday school, and am a Jr. high, and high school advisor at church (oh and a Decan, but that doesn't tie in with children) I am pretty sure I want to go into teaching, however there are pleanty of days where I feel like I should just drop everything I have done the past two years and train to be an airplane pilot, or join the navy. A few little known facts: I have been head-butted by a giraffe. I like to make silly movies when I am bored. I can lick my nose. |
